Thanks Dan, Tommy and Alex. It is still hard to even grasp that he is gone. I’m not sure if it makes it harder or easier watching this. It does make you smile, cry and laugh though. You guys did a great job!
If you haven’t started pumping out the DVDs yet: In the opening sequence right at “He is everywhere…” some kind of “marker” appears along the top.
The Flash interface isn’t bad, but if it were a Quicktime stream I could refer people to specific time references, like “Check out what he says at MM:SS.”
You guys did a wonderful job, churning that out in such a short time. The entire memorial service looked like people had worked on it for weeks.
Yeah the markers will be taken care of when I remaster it with a new opener.
Quicktime sucks; you can’t just tell them a certain time (? I think) because it is a progressive download no matter what delivery system. Unless they download it to their computer which is something I do not want. If they wanted it they can buy it and contribute to Gavin by doing so. Flash is the best video delivery system, by far. Not everyone has Quicktime (58%) or windows media (64%) but flash is about (94%). And the best part is people will not download it directly. Maybe we can talk about this in a different area but Flash video is the best.
It did take a week when you account for all the lost sleep.

At the moment I’m helping clients by developing solutions for their users on the web. Using some of the best frameworks around, i.e., Laravel, WordPress, Vue.js, and Tailwind CSS.
