1. The Perfect Nintendo Wii Travel Case

I found the perfect Wii travel case is a plastic box found at any target or similar store.

Mine stores the console, four remotes, four nunchucks, power cable, av cable, sensor bar and enough room for the classic controller.

  2. Smash Bros. Brawl

  4. Perfect Scores in Darts

Mine and Jason’s score at Darts (Wario Ware).
    Triple 20’s x 3 – Me
    Triple 20’s x 3 – Jason
    Triple 20’s x2 + 1 = My win

That was fun, I do have to give him credit for making the first perfect though. In other wii news he beat me at bowling the first time playing. … Read More »

  5. SSX Blur

SSX Blur arrived today and I have a very mixed review of it. The first thing you’ll notice is the style. I really like the modern comic/cell shading/bold colorful filled look, I’m sure there is a word for this type of style but I absulutly love it. This style really boads well with the wii because we all know it’s not as powerful as the 360 or the PS3 but it doesn’t matter because it wouldn’t look any better. Looking is differnt then playing though.

Playing the game is very difficult. The older games are all button smashers compared to this game. It’s very precise and deliberate. Steering with the nunchuck takes a few minutes to get used to and the tricks are nerve racking until you get the feel. I played it for 30 mintues and I’m still not comfortable with it. [Video]

However, I’m positive this game will give me a lot of joy in the future. I just wish it didn’t have such a learning curve because I don’t see it being fun for guests playing multiplayer.

  8. TV Redux

I’m having a tough time figuring out my TV situation. There are so many factors and so many price variations all with different cost benifits. More importantly, what we need vs. what we want. Oh, I guess what Sara wants is most important. Some items in my variations include:
    Apple TV
    New Vizio TV
    Tivo Series 3
    HD Over-the-Air antenna
    HD Tuner (for current TV)

  10. SD cards for the Wii useless?

There are some articles floating around and some unhappy bloggers calling out the big N’s lack of SD support for the Wii and I’d like to point out a few things.

One, SD cards didn’t even work when the system was launched. It took a system update for just backing up to SD cards to … Read More »
