I’ve been waiting for Numbers ever since it was rumored to be released in last years iWork (that never shipped). I just can’t figure out what to do. Either return the 360 and get the Wii (if I can) or just keep the 360. I just made a spreadsheet for cost comparison, I guess I need to do a matrix for pros and cons now.
My hope is the Wii will make us want to play games again, I’d think Sara would love it. There’s a web browser so we could watch youtube on TV and it’s a little cheaper then…
I’m really excited for some reason with Google Docs. It may be because it’s extremely easy and fast enough to not worry about software but it’s probably because I’m sold on the “software on-demand” hype going around. I’m really anticipating the mash-ups that would be coming from GDocs, since they announced they’d open their API of docs and spreadsheets. I wonder if Google will even attempt a Powerpoint replacement and then there’s Google Base which isn’t a full DB solution…
