There has already been a long debate about hosting your own DNS servers and mail servers but I’ve found once again relying on Godaddy total DNS management and using GoDaddy e-mail forwarding has made my three migrations over the last year a breeze. So I suggest to everyone:
Suggestion One:
Don’t mix your host and your registrar. You might not see your domain again.
For anyone looking to create their own site I urge you, never register your domain with your host. There…
Yes, the Apple Macbook does support over 2gbs of RAM. Maybe not officially but it’s at least confirmed…http://tinyurl.com/yujrfe #
Continuing off this tweet about putting 3 gigs of ram in my Macbook, it’s true the Macbook does support more than 2 gigs of RAM.
I want to check to see if 4 gigs will show up but I don’t have the time right now, maybe tonight when my systems are down.
You’ll notice in the image that the Apple is either wrong (which I doubt) or just misleading the consumer.

3 gigs of ram in each of my laptops makes a complete difference when running parallels consistently like I have to. #
I’m in need of a laptop for with small form factor, 2 gigs of ram and can run fedora without any hassles. I’ve looked at Lenovo, Sony, R3 and Jared recommends this one but I just can’t find anything better then a black macbook. fedora supports the new intel macs and I’ve yet to find any compatibility issues. The form factor and design is the sealer for me, although I’d prefer the thinkpad design. And with the price being a few hundred less at…
Looks like I should have upgraded the ram in the Apple store after all. Or maybe not since it was still too much.
As you know I bought a Mac Pro and Jared and I already agreed that the memory upgrades for the Mac Pro are way too much. It turns out that $300 for a gig of FB ram is not that much more then the market rate.
With the pictures coming in already it looks like my dreams have come true, an expandable/upgradeable Apple system. It seems as though the CPU’s can be upgraded, the HDDs are easy to manage, RAM to the limits of 16GB; that’s just awesome.

I just bought three new computers for the Library (where I work) and I ordered refurbed eMachines, I’ve bought similar refurbs before through TigerDirect with no problems, these were way faster and had such a great price. It turned out that 2 out of the 3 didn’t work properly and one the face place was jacked. The probelms: One machine didn’t turn on and the other the DVD drive didn’t work.
Being the first two I tried I was getting a…
