I didn't know ripping Wall-E would be so hard. http://bit.ly/18hgV 6 hrs ago
I just wanted to post how great our vacation trip was last week. The camping trip un-tethered me from the internet enough to give Google Reader some time off too. I have plenty of flickr photos of the trip and some of me wakeboarding, yes I know, I can’t wakeboard. Well, I can’t wakeboard well enough so I could jump higher and make it look cool in pictures. Other than those few pics I had a great time riding, I…
Yesterday I e-mailed TLAS about the conversation happening over on one of my posts. Without entirely reading the entire post they noticed a “mac fan” was criticizing them for their stance on Apple and how it clearly biased their Apple news reporting. Chris responded with,
Mac fanboys are all trolls, and well, I try not to feed the trolls.
He is obviously feeling insecure about his “Mac faith” so he needs to
attack us to rally the troops so that they can reassure…
With Christmas coming with one night’s sleep I’d like to thank all of you. Not the “you” that Time magazine refers to but the people that actually read my site or know me personally that don’t bother to come here because I geek out too much. Thank you.
We’ve had a great year and these last few days have followed suit. We’re just relaxing and enjoying it. I’ve posted nothing just keeping up with my feeds and e-mail on the downtime…
Lowes rugs are fairly cheap. Avery loves the new rug we bought her, the first thing she did was lay down and fake sleep.
And to make this post techie this is the first picture I used for a post from my new Pearl phone. Which I need to post about soon.
I hadn’t told anyone yet but I had to get an occlusal guard. I’ve apparently been grinding my teeth at night so much that my K9s are smooth. Last year my dentist mentioned it and I thought it wasn’t possible since Sara never told me. Turns out Sara had told me and my dentist last month told me I needed to get one because I could destoy my teeth through chipping.
And now Martha and I have something else in common. And…
No Wii for me. Costco isn’t putting them out until sometime next week, I guess it’s all of the warehouses too. Hope I can still get one this week though, it’s going to be FUN. I need to post some launch line pictures tomorrow, BestBuy and Fry’s were packed.
I just can’t figure out what to do. Either return the 360 and get the Wii (if I can) or just keep the 360. I just made a spreadsheet for cost comparison, I guess I need to do a matrix for pros and cons now.
My hope is the Wii will make us want to play games again, I’d think Sara would love it. There’s a web browser so we could watch youtube on TV and it’s a little cheaper then…
The new iPod video formatting is extremely hard to follow and hopefully this review will help. I created it because I just wanted to put the highest quality video on my 5g video iPod for playback on a TV.
DVD Ripping
The first hurdle was finding the app that would rip my DVDs to H.264. I used Instant Handbrake (with the unofficial icons of course) in the past, but as you might know it rips the DVDs in the old file size of…

With the pictures coming in already it looks like my dreams have come true, an expandable/upgradeable Apple system. It seems as though the CPU’s can be upgraded, the HDDs are easy to manage, RAM to the limits of 16GB; that’s just awesome.
