1. Web Images

If anyone wants to create an automator script, php script or anything similar that will simply take a mass amount (thousands) of scale them to a certain size and add padding so the resulting image is of a specified 1:1 size I would appreciate it.

I’ve been searching for a script for photoshop or automator that will do do just this and I can’t find it. Automator already has the function included but it creates a black background for padding and I need white. I’m at a loss becuase I know it’s out there but Google won’t help me find it.

Otherwise I’m going to build a script that will create the images in imagemajick. Which I don’t want to do since I don’t have the time to learn it and I can’t seem to find anything available one of the web to work off of. I’m almost about to install Gallery, import all the images and then take the result.

Anyways, if you know of something that you can suggest that will do this please contact me. If you want to build it for a nominal fee contact me also.

  2. No wonder our perception of beauty is distorted

This is a video from dove’s campaign for real beauty where you see a girl get a heavy makeup and then “fixed” in photoshop before she’s beauty enough to fit the ad.read more | digg story … Read More »

  3. Photoshop Webdesign

I really hate the idea of it but when you do something like this it’s just too easy. Maybe I’ll do it in CSS because I “really hate” slices, not only because they’re bad but just so annoying for loading and clicking. I really need to do something about the sc.info site, it’s just too much said and so … Read More »

  4. iPhoto 6

Not up for a full review of iPhoto because there are going to be so many in the next few days I do have to say it’s superb. By far the best app I’ve seen of late, not only does it include everything that made the previous versions so great but the added full screen editing is outstanding.

I’ve been using aperture for a couple weeks now and I can’t say iPhoto’sediting and touch up equals the pro app it is comparable for anyone other than a professional. I’ll still be using Photoshop for the tasks that even aperature can’t do but

I will be moving back to iPhoto for everything photo related, the full screen editing is just too good. I just have to find the time now to edit all the pictures Sara takes and cutting down on the flickr uploads. Which reminds me I need to start titling and tagging again on flickr, it’s a real mess over there.

  6. Digital makeup

Here is a link to some before and after Photoshop retouches of some famous models. I haven’t looked through them all but I personally like the 3rd from last; easy tattoo removal tool.

  9. Its up and I am up

If you havent been to my blog lately don’t be scared. Look around.

I can’t write too much right now since it is soooo late.

But I cannot believe that I did all this in one day; and a maybe a couple hrs..

Some of you might not like the style of things but I love it because it matches Freespeek, the gallery is finally integrated, and everything is not cluttered.

I learned a lot today making this, for example slices in photoshop and imageready, and so much more.

I will be giving an extensive list of what this thing can really do.

One thing I just can’t wait to tell you is…PERSONALIZATION, to each individual viewer. So the three of you out there you can talor my blog for you.

    2 more quick things…
    1. the links are tabbed to the left so you select the category you want and it drops down.
    2. If you have Mozilla or Thunderbird browsers use them because there is some cool effects you wont see in other browsers, and if you don’t have them get them because IE is sh** and you will get viruses and potentially hacked; Micro$oft sucks.

With that aside, do you like it?

Good night sleep tight and I hope the bed bugs bite.
