I didn't know ripping Wall-E would be so hard. http://bit.ly/18hgV 6 hrs ago
YouTube removed all parody/fanfilm/spoof Star Wars content two days ago due to copyright violation. This morning, in an incredibly awesome PR move, Lucasfilm contacted YouTube, and told them to put it all back online - every last one.
I’ve liked their toolbar for sometime now because I like the live search box better then Firefox’s default and I really like the spell checker. But with Firefox 2 coming out soon and with it having inline spell check I think I might drop the toolbar altogether, although I’ve been using deerpark for a while now and I’m still enjoying the search box, sms and autofill.
And for one of the main reasons of this post, The browser sync. It’s awesome.…
It’s fantastic. My most anticipated Google service, I talked about this thing for ever and now that it’t been here for awhile it’s proved itself as the best online Calendar out right now and even Backpacks upcoming calendar isn’t that impressive. Only if it wasn’t one way, meaning I’d love to have the ability to edit my calendars in iCal instead of just subscribing to them, something else it doesn’t have is subscribing to protected webcals.
Not to bring the conversation here, I just wanted my very large comment to be hear for others to see as well.
Not to encroach on your fun/debate/conversation I’m hoping for Google to just buy up all the dark fiber across the US and create their own backbone to the internet, a backbone that they would never be charged to used by the telcos. Maybe that’s just were the entire internet will go, Google, M$, Yahoo! and others will just be their…
A couple weeks ago I noticed Costco had the XBox 360 and I hesitated more then once. I always said I’d wait after the bestbuy debacle. What made me follow through with this purchase was Costco’s awesome return policy, I said to myself, “I’ll use it for a couple weeks and if I don’t use it enough to warrant the purchase I’ll take it back”. It’s been just a week and I don’t see myself taking it back. Key reasons:

I’ve developed a fondness to RonR. Last week I went through the Apple Dev. tutorial and really noticed how easy it was to produce a web application with Ruby and Rails. I’ve also come to the conclusion that Ruby is not just another buzz word going around the web tagging along with the whole web 2.0 scene, like AJAX. If there is an actual web 2.0 going on right now, I would imagine RoR being the front runner in making it…
Google is making their own G: drive as we speak. You may think this is speculation… but there is lots of evidence to support the idea that google is really digging into “Online Storage”…
Hi,
I just wanted to let you know that the business blogging story is scheduled
to run tomorrow (Thursday) in the business section.
You can find it online at the Star’s Web site:
http://www.VenturaCountyStar.com
Scroll down to the “Business” subhead.
It should be posted by tomorrow morning. Thanks again for your help with this story.
Can’t wait to read it. I wonder what, if anything, would happen to my sites or services as a result.
Even though it’s in my backpack getting warmed up to be sold on eBay it’s still one of my top gadgets of 2005.
Originally purchased through Cingular I unlocked it with my infamous instructions on how to unlock a Treo 650. Having practically two Treo 650s I’d have to say that having an unlocked Treo is worth the extra hundred.
Bluetooth tethering to my powerbook was the best thing ever. I used it when I went to Seattle and our family only…
I figured I should start Gadget week off right with the Logitech Harmony 520. I’m just glad there isn’t much to say about this device. It’s perfect, imagine every remote controlled device from stereos to Xboxs being controlled by one remote and done right. First off, forget all the perceptions you have about “universal remotes” because the harmonies are nothing like those. It does have the ability to control one device at a time but what it really does is…
