Thinking about making individual repos for client projects instead of using a master repo. All for client access and hooking into basecamp. 4 hrs ago
All we need is better integration for GMail and Notebook like adding e-mail functionality to your Notebook and my personal GTD process will be complete through the help of this article. An online notebook is something I really lack, even though I’ve tried many times with basecamp and the old Notebook; my current process of sorting bookmarks in my toolbar with no notes is easy but not effeciant. Especially since I do not have any archiving for past reference.
Maybe I’ll…
With it being so stable, it having some really cool features and it just being extremely fast it still isn’t as good as firefox. Not being able to add the few extensions I use really bugs. Maybe camino supports them somehow.
The extensions I need:
Google Notebook plugin
Google Browser sync
Google toolbar
Bugmenot
The ones I like but don’t care too much about:
gbrain

Too bad the Calendar for Backpack doesn’t integrate with any other part of backpack, otherwise I’d look into another GTD setup.
Right now my setup is so extravagant with Exchange->Entourage< ->iCal for tasks and events. Then I subscribe to all my Google calenders with iCal. I really like iCal especially how it print layouts my dailys but I don’t like the interface it’s too simple while entourage is too cumbersome.
For my personal setup I have no task lists, which I need. I then…

It just has so much more to offer then backpack, originally I thought they were two different things but when I started looking at how I use backpack I couldn’t figure a reason not to make the switch. With the firefox extension it makes it so much easier to collect notes and links for my current projects something backpack makes a pain out of doing. The one thing…

Consumers will be able to add hardware capabilities such as memory, wired and wireless communications cards and security devices by simply inserting these modules into their systems. All ExpressCard slots will accommodate modules designed to use either Universal Serial Bus (USB*) 2.0, or the emerging PCI*Express standards.

I wanted to take this conversation into comparing Apple laptops and PC laptops. And the reason why not to buy a PC laptop.
Jared asks this question:
So you don’t have anything against Dells specifically, just all non-Apple laptops?
To be honest, yes, most PC laptops I’ve seen are not designed well. Their too big, bulky, and lack default hardware features that can only be upgraded later for an additional charge; screens and Bluetooth to name a couple. Yes, dell and other manufacturers have…
