Thinking about making individual repos for client projects instead of using a master repo. All for client access and hooking into basecamp. 4 hrs ago
After just a few days of using the Apple TV I’m thoroughly impressed. The major reason I purchased the Apple TV was because of all the hacking that’s been going on and with Apple practically saying, “it’s your box do what you will” we can expect some more great hacks, if running full OS X wasn’t enough. I had planned at least to install some Xvid/divX playback through a very simple hack but involves cracking the case open. Instead of jumping right…
I’m now completely satisfied with the $10.50 ticket price of 300. It wasn’t for the kids but it was a great movie.
What a question and what an answer. I really don’t care too much with Vista’s looks being so much like OS X, especially when you compare the Vista logo with all the other sphere/orb Apple logos. But the answer was hysterical, “Parental controls that’s the first time that was done”, um OS X had that a long time ago. Easily editing of movies and HD movies? Uh, that’s been the base of OS X’s marketing for ever. As for tablet…
Wonderful movie.
Coming out of the movie I had thought Sara wouldn’t have liked the movie with it being so extreme at parts but she “liked it a lot”. Maybe it was the motherly connection that affected her, I know the feeling of doing everything you possibly can for your child affected me.
The acting and cinematography was great. And I can’t even explain the genre, maybe a war/love story. The plot was wonderful and and unique and I don’t question any…
There are some articles floating around and some unhappy bloggers calling out the big N’s lack of SD support for the Wii and I’d like to point out a few things.
Looks like the community is getting a new version of Handbrake to support 640x H.264 and the news got out even though it’s not a final release and users are warning people not to use it.
But I still don’t get the big deal with H.264. Even thought I need to go through this post and make it more simple and fix a few errors I’ve fully shown that H.264 isn’t all that. You’ll see the file size is nothing to get too excited…
Microsoft’s Xbox Live Video: HDTV and HD movie downloads for your 360 - Engadget
The service is called Xbox Live Video, and the fall update enables customers to spend their Microsoft points on standard and HD television from CBS, MTV, Comedy Central, VH1, Turner, and UFC, as well as HD movies from Warner Bros., Paramount, and so on. We’re still a little in shock, ourselves, that Microsoft was able to in one fell swoop hit TiVo, Apple, Netflix, and a handful…
…over 1000 hours of video will make its way onto Live for rental at about $4 a go, or for purchase (at an unstated price). Hard to imagine Xbox 360 doing for PC-free online movie downloads what all the other companies couldn’t or haven’t (we’re looking at you TiVo, Netflix, iTV, etc.), but then again Microsoft did start up with that Xbox Live music video download thing last year. Seriously though, what a coup would that be if Microsoft swooped…
The Departed was a wonderful movie. One of the most noticeable; you knew what was happening the entire time, very few movies now-a-days do that, they always have the twist or the great reveal. This movie let you connect with the characters without having to question who they were or analyze their actions. The acting was superb and I’d be surprised if it doesn’t get a ton of nominations for some little golden statues, including two for best movie and best…
