Thinking about making individual repos for client projects instead of using a master repo. All for client access and hooking into basecamp. 46 mins ago
What a slow day today, not why but Mondays are usually find the revolver days but today was death by boredom and regular tasks. At least I get to go to CostCo tonight and tomorrow is the Apple conference that I hope will include an announcement of a new iPod.
Wishing I had an iPhone just so Avery could watch movies on it during our long trip. My iPod isn’t going to cut it with headphones. #
Looks like if you really don’t like iTunes but you want an iPod you can now use winamp through just a few checkbox configuration. I also noticed you can now use Amarok to sync on linux, which is cool but there are so many other options.
It’s official (to me anyways) that the iPhone does *not* support one major iPod functionality, video out. http://tinyurl.com/22jkeh #
Well the wait is over for me. I talked myself into buying an iPod last night after toying around with it for just a few minutes and my experience with it for 20 minutes today at the mall solidified my decision.
Yes, the iPhone does do what many other phones do already. That’s clear but it’s the how that counts. The simplicity may be a drawback for some (or at least one I know) but like the BlackBerry OS it’s almost…
I’m purging my online identity to just a few locations that I actually use since it was getting out of control. The major account escape that led to the purge was myspace, as you might have noticed if I’m a friend of yours. The others include:
I really try not to fall into the hype of the iPhone but with all of it’s failings (no 3G or GPS support) its innovations are what’s going to make it standout. Who knows it could be a bust, yeah right.
Just look at the video after the break. It’s the browser that I want. I know a lot of tablet’s are out right now but non are doing it like this. And then there’s the UI.
I’m just glad their actually…
Since my first DRM Free iTunes post is slowing down I’d though I should start it back up.
A few people think (or at least one) thinks Apple’s motives aren’t exactly honest with their release of iTunes plus and the open letter that Job’s wrote to the big four earlier this year. As I’ve said exauhstingly before I believe their motives are true, even with the lock-in model that has been stamped onto the iPod and iTunes.
Whether the extra $.30Â is worth…
After just a few days of using the Apple TV I’m thoroughly impressed. The major reason I purchased the Apple TV was because of all the hacking that’s been going on and with Apple practically saying, “it’s your box do what you will” we can expect some more great hacks, if running full OS X wasn’t enough. I had planned at least to install some Xvid/divX playback through a very simple hack but involves cracking the case open. Instead of jumping right…
I love it when Jared is wrong, maybe not entirely wrong but his assumptions that Apple embraces DRM as much as MS is wrong.
The third alternative is to abolish DRMs entirely. Imagine a world where every online store sells DRM-free music encoded in open licensable formats. In such a world, any player can play music purchased from any store, and any store can sell music which is playable on all players. This is clearly the best alternative for consumers, and Apple…
