My iPhone has landed and I’m in the mix. It really paid to wait, although there are already rumors of the 3G 16GB phone coming out in a month to fill that $599 spot. Good thing that spot isn’t worth it for me yet, edge is fast enough for now and I’m keeping my 5.5 gen. [Link] (0)
With the new $399 price drop of the iPhone I’d have to say it’s better than the iPod touch. Even if: It’s bigger, has less space and requires phone service; it still is an awesome phone and the best DAP out right now. [Link] (0)

I had to remind myself 10 times today I don’t need a refurbished iPhone. The reasons don’t include it not being new, I’ve always had success with their refurbs. They’re: No video out No copy/paste all the other reasons like ringtones and such are overwritten by the pure awesomeness of the phone. I really can’t wait to get a COMPLETE browser on my phone. And no, if you don’t use an iPhone, your phone does not support the web anywhere…

The new .Mac gallery is awesome. I’m glad their using js I cringe when I see flash apps because it just seems like the easy way out. BTW: Yes I know the gallery has to be in js because it has to support the iPhone but either way it’s nice to see this much goodness in a browser w/o flash being involved. [Link] (0)
Awesome…ROMs on an iPhone. It makes me wonder what’s coming out next from the iPhone hacking community, especially since the phone was just fully opened a week ago. But even though there are all these great mods and hacks they don’t compensate for the lack of no video-out, which is the primary reason I don’t have an iPhone right now. [Link] (0)
Who needs Safari on the iPhone when you can use Lynx?
Once the community makes these apps easier to install the iPhone is going to be well worth the cost, if it’s not already for some.
