1. Avery

    Update.
Everything seems okay this time around. We will still need to go to more appointments to monitor the situation but today was a small victory in our hearts. We feel a little better about Avery’s health and hopefully she will be born a very healthy baby boy, oh wait no a girl.
Here are some high tech pics taken today.

  2. Day of Confusion

As you might have read below the health of Avery is at jeopardy. No one knows as of yet if Avery is okay or not but this morning it didn’t seem that way at all.

Sara came to my work this morning, unannounced, so I knew something was wrong. She told me that there was a complication and that Avery had something from a certain complication. With the confusion of what the doctor said to her and then her interpreting it to me I heard the worst; that Avery had [blank] because of this complication. What happened is the doctor said that Avery might be affected in two ways by a condition, and in the interpretation and emotional state of Sara, I heard she might have [blank]. I researched the condition and it was something that made me crumble; no chance; horrible; I couldn’t take it. FYI: I work in a medical Library so I have access to excellent medical research and instruction, so I read what a doctor would read, not the BS that a doctor eases on you.

We both decided to have the doctor explain to us again what the situation is and outcomes. The outlook is better, although the condition could still effect Avery in a serious way, [blank above] and [blank]; I have high hopes because of Avery’s current health and the determining factor, God.

Sara will go see a neonatologist next week.
    Please Pray

Sorry for being so vague. I just don’t want people to do some research, making them think they know something we don’t, and making them doctor. That would make us feel uncomfortable. Just Pray, that is best thing you could do to help.

  3. Meet the Press

Anyone else watch Kerry on Meet the Press Last night?

His plan was so clear last night; only if America understood it months ago.

Here is a good excerpt form the transcript about abortion that I thought everyone interested should read since noone will actually read the entire transcript; here.

  4. the Second part of my Fat

I love the comments that I got back from my last post its very interesting what people will say when I give what some could take as an offensive statement.
I would like to say a couple of statements.
One there are always exceptions and most important I am writing my thoughts and nothing else.
And I will continue my thoughts with the real frustrations of the ìfadî. As I tried to say before I am mostly ticked with the hiding behind a diet; when exercise is most likely the main contributor. I hear a lot of people saying that they are on these types of diets and I hear nothing about their new exercise routine, making it sound so easy. Leading to my next point, It can never be that easy to change life habits in weeks, but I guess there are always exceptions.
Another irritation I have is the ìFadî factor. And don’t say it is not a fad because I can go to any fast food joint and they have there low carb menu; and its right next to that same menu that made us fat in the first place. The whole fad diet thing goes way back with me, with the whole vegenism/vegetarianism fad that swooped through my late high school years; granted that wasn’t a nation wide craze nor healthy in some instances but I hated it. And the reason I hated the fad diet then is the same reason I hate it now, because suddenly its a ìcoolî hip thing to do. Making self image the priority and not health.
Doesn’t the south beach diet just sound like a cool diet? Do we want to be thin because it looks healthy? or diet becuase it is healhy?
I will regress a little and say that these diets do good in some instances because it controls your diet, and most importantly (the #1 tip from Dr. Bighair) stops u from eating crap. And the crap that we eat is primarily carbs and sugars, the main ingredients in crap; no really.
    Martha:
Jared might just be an exception. And I have done diets like these before and the only weight I lost was because of constant diarrhea. As you can tell I didn’t read the book.
