Purchased the ATH-ANC7s a couple weeks back and they’re the first pair of “real” headphones I’ve ever purchased over $40. At first I was looking at the Bose QC headphones but I couldn’t rationalize a $300 purchase. Instead I bought some Sony headphones a year ago and they’ve suited me enough to not really care too much. Now, work has been a little loud and it’s only going to get more chatery around my office so I started looking again…

Ordered Wired’s June pic for noise canceling headphones yesterday and I can’t wait for them to arrive. They’re rated higher than the Bose QC2 and on amazon about 300 bills cheaper. I already wish they were wireless though. [Link] (2)

So I bought the new iPod, I’ve had it a week and it’s pretty cool. Honestly there’s no difference except
the very noticeable screen brightness which helps at work. The search feature is awesome, but until I actually find myself using it it’s just another feature not to get excepted about. Oh, the headphones are great. I’m not too big on audio but they sound okay and most importantly they don’t hurt my ears.
All in all it’s a better iPod but…
Even though I am very content with my Nano I still am very excited about the next iPod rumors.
And even if it doesn’t come with Bluetooth or WiFi I would still be one of the first to order it.
Keeping on track, what iPod features would make up the ULTIMATE iPod.
Received my nano today, a little surprise since fedex’s site said it wouldn’t be delivered until next Wednesday. I guess they heard my cries. Luckily I also received the invisible shield today, this way I can keep it looking slick.
