Wow, jail breaking the iPhone and iPod touch is way easier then ever before.
Hackers hdm/metasploit, kroo, dinopio, rezn, drudge, pumpkin, davidc, dunham, and NerveGas just setup and “instant” jailbreak for the iPhone and iPod Touch simply by going to a website.
Installer.app allows for third party application you like like an awesome NES emulator, ssh and much more.

One of my “want to dos” is to create an iPhone theme for wordpress and todays discussions about creating one on the wp-hackers mailing list “forced” me to dive in for a few hours today. iPhone Wordpress Theme uses iUI which is great unless you want to do something dynamic. Right now it only works from an iPhone interface since included in the theme is a plugin to do a little browser detection.

Awesome…ROMs on an iPhone. It makes me wonder what’s coming out next from the iPhone hacking community, especially since the phone was just fully opened a week ago. If I’m going to pull in feeds from Pownce the service better not cross it with someone else’s feed, as shown in this image. It made my blog look like it was hacked.

Following these directions to boot OS X from a USB drive I was able to modify the AppleTV filesystem to enable SSH. Running SSH allows for just about anything:
