Thinking about making individual repos for client projects instead of using a master repo. All for client access and hooking into basecamp. 24 mins ago
I just added my dugg links to my feed. I wanted to do this before but but hated the idea of each digg or link as a separate item, making my feeds bloated. And I never liked the idea of items in my feed that were from the ‘outside’, even though I do use photosplicing with flickr.
I really don’t see a problem with this splicing. Yes the content doesn’t originate from the site but it is content non the less;…
If your not reading this through a feed reader then you probably noticed that I’ve changed the look and feel of my site entirely. I’ve contemplated changing to a new layout for a while and I noticed squible had done what I wanted to do; almost. So what I’ve done is take the theme, hack it a little and style it to the look I want. normally I would have just finished the theme before pushing it out to you but…

It can be done. Just followed Justin Nolan’s instruction here, originally I started using the instructions on Uneasy silence but got stuck when I needed toÃ¥ change the passwords because the instructions there were wrong.
I made a video of OS x booting and running on my AMD64 machine. The quality was supposed to be good since I used a scan converter but most of the text is unreadable, I will have to get some picks up on…
With 400 flickr notes; what a waste of time, but I love flickr notes and I love The Simpsons.
Neato just keeps cranking new versions out every week. This time she included an ajax feature that links out tags to technorati, flickr, wikipedia, and del.icio.us. What a cool feature.
Another feature registered users will notice right away is the ability to add tags or delete tags. I might take the ability of deleting tags out, not saying I don’t trust you, I just don’t like the idea.
Hopefully she will create an update page where the admin can see recently added or…
I just commented on Jared’s blog about tagging vs. categorizing and I thought it deserved a whole new post.
Here is a quote from Micheal:
Categories are is a finite range of static containers, into which you pour your content.
Tags are fluid, dynamic and can be entirely different from one end of your blog to the other.
And another from Mathew:
categories give a very general feel for the content, and only a few categories should be used per post (say randomly, 4 per…
I am spring cleaning a little.
I took the links out of the right side for two reasons: 1) Because it was an eyesore for me 2) I love Del.icio.us too much, especially since they started to show flickr style weighted tags. I know it’s sort of a nuisance because my links were one click away and now they are two but this way you are now drawn to all my links. Which are categorized so well (I plan to clean up…
