Thinking about making individual repos for client projects instead of using a master repo. All for client access and hooking into basecamp. 39 mins ago
I really hate the idea of it but when you do something like this it’s just too easy. Maybe I’ll do it in CSS because I “really hate” slices, not only because they’re bad but just so annoying for loading and clicking. I really need to do something about the sc.info site, it’s just too much said and so poorly written.
sidenote: Photoshop on my mac pro is comparable to my old g4 powerbook; hardly noticeable that it’s being emulated.

Who needs flash anymore when you can do it all with Javascript and css.
Made everything a little darker today to make Dan Cameron 2-point-oh almost complete. I was contemplating making the site more image rich but I still like the idea of only having two images in the entire template and being more css driven with only a few images (header and gradient background) rather then wrapping everything.
I setup a brand new theme. I couldn’t help myself since I can now have rolling archives. it’s just so damn great, thanks Michael and Neo.
A few things you should notice: The rolling archives of course, the activity is larger and more in charge now, the tag and elsewhere dropdown (just click the link above the top post), inline asides, and the best thing ever a “AJAX”/DHTML drag and drop form field for commenting.
The comment form is my favorite part.…
Go get it. It’s a big IE solver.

Not one of the best articlees I’ve read at Newsvine but surely a good one. Jared would appreciate it. And instead of linking to it, becuase you need to be a user of newsvine I decided to post it all here.
If you would allow me the honor, I would like to add another acronym to our already acronym-laden technical subculture: JAAA. To pronounce this acronym in every-day speech, adopt the accent of a lazy, male, entitled 23-year old German and…
Darks and Macs. Many mac users know that darks look a lot better on a mac then they do a PC, something to do with the gamma settings or something by default. Well forgetting this minor fact made me make a theme too dark, if that’s possible. Anyways I increased the lighting at Scattered a little and hopefully it will suffice. Did I say I hate Windows? I’m guessing right now as to the brightness desired because I rather wait…
I will post on it later but it took me a day or so. Right when K2 B2 came out I started working on it and I think I have my best theme yet.
I think it really encompasses what everyone wants including myself. It has asides but doesn’t hide them. It has limited posts on the homepage without hiding the previous entries. Same amount of info but not cluttered.
When I say cluttered, I mean that everything is distinct I still…
I changed a lot tonight. Two very important things:
1. previous posts are very easy to see now, with a cool looking overlap.
2. Commenters are listed in the “nifty” box, so you can see if there are any recent comments.
I still need to fix the related tags, the activity section’s css (it looks horrible), write something about myself and most importantly name the theme.
Anything I left out that you don’t like?
