I never liked any zombie movies until now, especially serious zombie movies. The only non-comedic zombie I would rate higher than a three is 28 days later but that’s only because its more of a horror movie than a zombie flick.

Funny People is a funny movie. There are some of the greatest comedians in this movie and because the movie’s plot allows for real actors to portray themselves ( stand-up, ect. ) its perfect to cram them in without being distracting or messy.
If you’ve seen a preview you know Sandler is terminally ill and you can guess he starts soul searching and finds a girl; well, don’t get disappointed there’s definitely more to it and without spoiling anything I loved how it unfolded.

I had some really different expectations for The Invention of Lying, not only did I expect for it to be a bombardment of laughs ( it wasn’t ), I didn’t expect for it to be thought provoking.
