I wish the new Backpack and the new Basecamp had a bastard child that included everything I need from each.
Amazed to see that Basecamp changed it’s interface again. #
All we need is better integration for GMail and Notebook like adding e-mail functionality to your Notebook and my personal GTD process will be complete through the help of this article. An online notebook is something I really lack, even though I’ve tried many times with basecamp and the old Notebook; my current process of sorting bookmarks in my toolbar with no notes is easy but not effeciant. Especially since I do not have any archiving for past reference.
Maybe I’ll…
As you might already know I’m in SF for the Dreamforce ‘06 conference. I had petitioned to go to this conference a while back when the task of integrating salesforce with our systems (namely an AS/400) was given to me months back. The sole reason was just to learn how to make my hat as the salesforce administrator easier to wear. After this morning, it’s going to be a lot harder then I had imagined.

activeCollab is an “open source project management and collaboration tool” and also-known-as the “basecamp clone”. Well I installed it on my other server since my current (mt) setup doesn’t have PHP5 and it’s awesome. I’ve used basecamp before and they are very similar; the look and feel is the same and the features are pretty much the same. I can’t wait for the next releases because I could see some real progression of the system since it came out of the…
I’ve developed a fondness to RonR. Last week I went through the Apple Dev. tutorial and really noticed how easy it was to produce a web application with Ruby and Rails. I’ve also come to the conclusion that Ruby is not just another buzz word going around the web tagging along with the whole web 2.0 scene, like AJAX. If there is an actual web 2.0 going on right now, I would imagine RoR being the front runner in making it…
