iWork 08
Yesterday I posted about Numbers and I shyed away from posting about the other two apps in iWork ‘08; Pages and Keynote because the only thing out of those two apps that’s worth mentioning is “action builds” for Keynote.
Action builds is a very cool feature and to have it in a presentation software makes me say “finally”. Keynote has had animations in previous versions but not like this. Instead of building the motion in another application like Flash or…
An animated GIF showing a stabilized version of the infamous Bigfoot film.
Michael has a great post on the Apple/Pixar/Disney deal.
Notice I put Apple in there, it looks as if they will be a big proponent in this new digital age for Disney.
Also, I was going to write about this deal with my own opinions but instead I rather just paste what others wrote and I feel the same way about.
“It would also be interesting to see if he can convince them to release movies in iTunes music store AT THE SAME time…
I received CyberLink’s Powerdirector last week to review here and I was pleasantly surprised to find out that is a great alternative for consumer editing on the PC. If you’re on a Mac you might as well skip this review and start reading a past review on iMovie. I would have liked to compare it to Adobe’s Premiere Elements which I highly recommend the pro version for all the pro-sumers. But instead I will have to compare PowerDirector to Premiere Elements which I…
I’m not really there but I intend to post what I find as fast as I can here.
- AND ONE MORE THING…

Liger - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
The liger is a cross (a hybrid) between a male lion and a female tiger. It is therefore a member of genus Panthera. It looks like a giant lion with diffused stripes. Like tigers (and unlike
lions), ligers like swimming.
One of the reasons why Wikipedia will never be a true blue encyclopedia replacement. I could imagine some kid reading this and reporting on it for a 3rd grade animal report, only because the librarian said…
Casting A Hypothetical Live-Action Simpsons Movie
that the Simpsons feature film is, in fact, in production, our reader Sean left the following comment: "Paul Giamatti IS Homer Simpson." Of course, the film that Fox is making is animated, and all of the voice actors who work on the series will get to keep their jobs. But what if someone *was* making a live-action version of The Simpsons? Who would you cast as Marge? Lisa? Comic Book Guy? Let us know…
I too:
learned everything I need to know about games from Another World
And that’s just one example, here’s another absolutely brilliant example: You come to a screen with 3 green lamps. In each of the lamps there’s a reflection of a guard, doing his rounds on the ’screen below’. It’s a 15-year old game, and there’s an animated reflection! Now it’s up to you to figure out what to do with that…
Do you remember this? Remember how you’re given a clue as…
Personally I hate forwards. As a tech guy I see all of them as virus riden spam and I delete them as soon I get a chance. This one I scanned that my mother sent me who has been coming to the Bridge lately. I read it knowing this was just an ordinary christian e-mail that says the same thing as all of them, and I was impressed not by the message but by whom sent it.
