I wanted to see this in the theaters and I really regret not seeing it earlier. This movie was excellent.

After reading up on the next movie I was reminded about the Planet remake a while back with Marky Mark, I’m so glad I forgot about that movie. What I do remember is the classics, it’s been a very long time but I watched every one of those Ape movies and this prequel seems to keep a lot of the tie ins to make it a true prequel. This makes me really excited about next movie in the series.

If you didn’t know Andy Serkis plays the lead role and like his role as Gollum in The Lord of the Rings he makes a CG character come to life.
