Saw that one coming… they did the price drop and the wifi only version.

Even though I still wouldn’t buy one, it definitely makes it a much more attractive device.

But everyone knew they would come out with new iPods, also dropping the price and coming out with a cheaper version is completely different.

Also, Apple has never done this; where they launch something and then do a major price drop soon after. It works out for me though.

i can’t imagine anyone getting a touch since the nano plays video now. i mean, if you’re gonna get a touch, just get an iphone… the pda sans phone model has been dead for years.

It’s not trying to be an PDA though, its trying to be a the best media player and consumer electronic.

I would get it if I didn’t want to carry two devices everywhere, that’s why I’m commenting here with my iPhone and have the curve on the block for ebay.

Both devices are awesome and if you really don’t want to use att but want everything else the iPhone has to offer the touch is there. But I see your point if you just want to play video, the nano is perfect, and of you have a lot of video the classic is there.
