Updating all the blogs I host to use SVN. 5 down 15 more to go. Awe…’svn update’ is so easy. #
Internet down at the house for some reason and what great timming since I’m late to leave. #
Texting and driving is way more dangerous then driving talking on the phone. Good thing I like danger. #
Reading how to get content from our HDDVR to mac to playback later with the aTV, on the same TV the HDDVR is connected to. Now I ask WHY? #
Sitting at bestbuy wondering if they’re going to open in a few minutes. #

Re: #4 - Because your DVR has limited hard drive space, whereas your other computers don't.

If we run out of space on the DVR because we are watching too much we deserve that last show to be deleted.

The one reason for me would be to archive shows like Lost but it's actually easier to just download the HR version.

Archiving of shows can be beneficial, especially for those that aren't always easily available for download. There could be kids shows, nature shows, etc. that you may want to have available for the long term (commercial free of course), without taking up limited space on your DVR.
