Since Apple loves to come up with the best subtle enhancements to their products (i.e stacks) I’m going to predict their next awesome feature for the iPod. Similar to the iTunes and the iPod skip count both apps will now collect volume control. It will notice whether you like to turn the volume up for a certain song compared to the average volume pre and post song. It’s unlikely but I would love to have a smart playlist for “Loud Music”. Since they also love software patents, you should patent this (assuming they haven't already) and then charge them for implementing it and/or sue them when they do.

aside from the playlist aspect, they do allow you to set certain to always play louder/softer than the others. i use that feature to have my old timey music play just as loud as my new timey music. like today i got to go from cab calloway to charlie parker without having to adjust the volume at all...wait, do i listen to post-1950 music anymore? what's happened to me?!?!
