No wonder the RIAA/MPAA hates us so much:
“I don’t know if you will know the answer to this, but I was wondering if the ___ dvd is reproducible like the cd is?”
After this comment it seems to me that the common person thinks it’s ok to reproduce copyrighted CDs because their computer allows it. I don’t get people sometimes.
[Thinking] Why do I care? I just download everything. I guess I’m annoyed by people that don’t know how to “steal” the right way.

OK, but who's "they"? I'm assuming from your answer it's someone who asked you something, but I wasn't sure from the original post. Then, after reading the followup comments in Pownce, I gather that it's a question someone asked to someone (or some company) involved in the industry (still don't know who), but it never really says that anywhere. Just looking for more background to help the story make sense...

Yeah, I can see why it would be confusing because I thought it would be obvious.

The story: A customer that bought our material emailed me that question today (quote).

And I say the **AA hates us because, if the general public thinks it's fine to burn CDs and DVDs then maybe they aren't overreacting. Although they are still evil.

Not sure why Winer didn't notice that iTunes has all the major DNC speeches and all the RNC speeches shortly after.It's under the podcast section.
