Wii wiins

In my house the Wii has already won. I haven’t played with the 360 in a few weeks and surprisingly I don’t want to finish Gears of War, even though it’s epic and I’m almost done. Zelda is just too much fun and I know in order to finish it I’ll have to put a lot of time into it and Zelda is one game that I really want to finish, the story and gameplay is infectious. I’ve gone as far as purchase a new DVD player on eBay so when I get rid of the 360 we’ll have something to play DVDs.

One thing I will miss on Wii that I loved on the 360 is the online profile and how it handled friends. I wish Nintendo is planning something because I’m online now with the Wii and I just don’t see the Mii community being easy to manage. But even if it’s hard to setup it’s going to be a blast messaging with the Strykers, the Bangs and the Uribes; who else is getting a Wii? Or have one and you want to be friends with Mii.

I just finished GoW, wow what a great game. One thing I loved about it was you could host or join a campaign with someone else online; I was having some tough time at the end and I just wanted to finish the thing so I hosted the game and some guy just played along, way better then computer AI. I’m not sure if he helped though, seemed as if he just stayed back the whole time.

Anyways, this is another thing the Wii gets out of the few great things the 360 does. Because it would be great to have a friend join in while I try get through a level of [insert cool two player game here]. And I really hope they get the online friend thing down because if I want to play the Bang kids at Smash Bros. it shouldn’t be hard to find them.

Everyone is craze of using Mii by Nintendo, particularly teens. Talks about the new game are blazing the public, getting more and more people out looking for some extra cash. The new PS3 Home has launched in open beta. The game is essentially a cross between “The Second Life” and Nintendo Mii. PlayStation 3 users will receive their own customizable avatars and virtual homes. They can also chat via text messages and voice with and host friends online, find gaming buddies, buy and display virtual décor and goodies. Although the service is free, real money transactions take place with the exchange of clothing, furniture, and other toys for their avatars. The game has been said to release on December 11 – right in time for Christmas. Nintendo Wii launched with support for player avatars and the Xbox 360 added avatar and related features with its November 2008 New Xbox Experience update. Some scoff at the new PS3 Home claiming that it’s just another way to make real money through a virtual life. Others, similar to those who see the value of no fax payday loans, are more open-minded and anticipating to try out the new PlayStation 3 game.
