  • Don't forget that this guy is a total whack job, and I wouldn't take his word on anything.

    It's actually true that Sudan does supply a huge amount of the gum arabic though; it even looks like the 80% figure is about right.

    This may be a good opportunity for a boycott, but given my current lack faith in the protesting guts of our country, I'm not sure. I'm in though, if you want to get serious about it.

    gum arabic isn't on the label for diet coke or coke zero... must be only in non-diet cola. in fact, gum arabic in mentos is what makes diet coke explode.
