Search Everything 4.5

I just committed search everything 4.5 to wordpress extend.

There are some major fixes for wordpress 2.5; like tag and category fixes and Japanese localization support. So go and update if you’re using it.

Thanks to all the wonderful contributers out there that’s help build SE for the last year.

There are some other issues that need some attention, but I don’t even have time to write this post, so please help me out like Chris Meller and jdleung did this time around; even pointing out the obvious helps these days.

  • I get this same issue and I'm trying to find a fix. It seems like it can't search tags with spaces between words. Great plugin but I think this is a big issue that should be fixed. Thanks.

    hello there. i'm using wordpress 2.7 and trying this out. great plugin! only 1 think that seems strange re: searching tags associated with posts. say i have a post tagged with "Los Angeles". and say nowhere in the post is there actually the word "Los Angeles" (it's a photo-style blog, so there's not much text content in the actual posts themselves, just pics and wordpress tags/category). if i search "Los Angeles" i get no results. if i search just for "angeles" i get results. if i search just "los" i get results. i tried searching "Los Angeles" with quotes thinking maybe that would work. no dice. is this a bug or intended implementation? maybe it worked on older wp versions? your help is much appreciated. thanks in advance!

    May I say, Awesome search plugin for WP.
    One thing I found is that that Option to edit the plugin is available to all users. Can that be customisable or at least be available just for Admins?
