S2a

I have completed the update for my theme; Scattered2.a has changed a lot from the first release but it still needs a lot of work. Just so eveyone knows I am not a coder, I am not a designer, I don’t know what I am but hopefully this time I got it right.

New features:

  • No wide column
  • New post design
  • Top commenters plugin (via FreePressBlog)
  • Stats page (Archives Page)
  • Couple css fixes

To-Do:

  • Learn css better to clean it up
  • Take the images out of the header

I'm the owner and solution engineer at Sprout Venture, a web solutions company that specializes in web development including WordPress.

I started my first blog in 2003 and transitioned to WordPress in 2004. Since moving to WordPress I've written a few plugins and themes for public consumption. Lately I'm busy engineering/building/coding and have only been able to share a few code snippets.

If you're in need of some web development, web design or custom WordPress plugins and/or themes contact me, I'll be happy to discuss it with you.

I'm over it. I tried a bunch of different things but nothing looked good. Jared says the same thing but that's the beauty of it being my blog.

Similar to reading comments top-to-bottom. I might add a link directly after the text too, like 'read the rest of entry...'
  • i like that the comments link is in a little unexpected place. although now that i think about it that doesn't really flow. you read the post, then you comment...

I need to make the Striped theme more like it. I don't know if I like where the comments link is because some people might not notice it.

I also need to theme how the comments section is because the post just runs into, "One Response to “S2a”". I just don't know what I am going to do.
  • i like it.
