K2 and asides formating

I changed it up a little in here in the last couple days, I hope you noticed, if not that’s cool. The footerpanel was the biggest change.

Some might have noticed that I formatted the asides a little different in my Sca4ered theme or might have noticed the difference on my blog. Originally the post of the asides was called by the_content and that is fine if you use asides like they are meant to be, short and sweet. But I don’t so I needed them cropped so I used the_excerpt instead.
I did notice that the_exceprt had some formatting issues and instead of digging through everything I found a ton of more tags that could be used, like the_excerpt_rss, which I’m using now. It doesn’t make any sense but it seems that this tag isn’t formatted at all and much easier to work with.

Yeah, you're right that is David's work. I just changed the header image too something I think looks a lot better. Check it out.
  • I like these mods too - nice implement of K2 (I just upgraded this weekend).

I recognize your banner graphic too - it's by David Lanham, who now works at icon factory, right? From his own site, I think. It is pretty sweet.

Thanks for the search everything plugin, BTW!!

The footer panel is sweet. It took me a few seconds to figure out what that green bar at the bottom of the screen was but now that I know, it rocks. btw, did you draw that header graphic yourself?
