James Kim: 1971-2006

I’ve been following the story for the last week and once the family was found on Monday I had thought James would be found shortly after at least that’s how the news wrote it. A real tragedy to a real story of sacrifice.

    I am trying to confirm that James Kim was my student at St. Andrew's School in the early 80's. I am quite sure that this is the same young boy that I taught French to. Such a tragic story. I would like to offer support and help to his family in any way I can. Would you please email me and confirm that this is "my" James Kim.     I keep crying about it...every time the news mentions the story or I think about it randomly. I was really praying that they would find him alive after they found the family.

    the rescuers mentioned that they found his wife and kids in part due to finding his foot prints, so his efforts were not totally wasted. still an aweful story...
