iPod Shuffled out

Well, I’d say that since you can listen to your MP3s in other ways and the iPod Shuffle doesn’t really do what you want it to … AND you have a baby on the way in a couple of months who will require loads of $$$ to feed and clothe it – sell the darn thing!

You only need one music player thing (MP3). Why don’t you just keep one of the many you have? I agree with Stacy too, maybe we should buy something for the baby- you know a maybe a CRIB!

You guys make it sound so bad. We will get a Crib, don’t worry. And it will be one of those big awesome ones that convert to a robot.

I knew there was something that I really hated about the iPods, but I couldn’t remember what it was until now. Is that battery issue fixed in the new ones?

But, I do have to admit that when I looked at the price on the shuffle I was pretty impressed. That’s a decent price (not the cheapest, but not way out there either) for a 1GB USB drive, plus you get the MP3 functionality. I also like the lack of the fancy UI, since the iPods much touted interface didn’t really impress me.

Dang it, I am used to posting from my laptop, which has my name already filled in. (This really isn’t an attempt to get my comment count up) You can add my name to the above two comments.

Yeah I know that is why I got it. After selling this one I made a little over $25 bucks so what I am going to do is buy the 512, mainly because I don’t listen to a lot of music at one time, nor do I need all the space for storage because I am keeping my other 512.
But before I rush out and buy one I am going to count how many times I would actually want one, for example, if I was in line at DMV, or I was shopping with Sara. And if I really warrant an tiny cool mp3 player on me at all times then I will get it.

How many times in 2 weeks would make me warrant buying one?

What I really want is a treo 650.

I am so addicted to tech toys, but at least that’s my hobby and I am not into cars or motorcycles.

I have been reading moderatley unfavorable posts about the Treo 650 and they are mostly waiting for the blackberry 7100g.
Are you into the Treo mainly due to the Palm sync?

The Tmobile 7100 is free and the monthly charge is cheaper than cingular, but the coverage is not as good.

How do you make money seemingly all the time on reselling stuff you can buy in the store? Dan you seem to just fall out of bed and make money.

My secret.
Buy stuff as soon as it comes out or just at good price, then when you know the newer version is coming out, sell the old ASAP. Most of the time your loss is about 10-15% then use the money to buy the newer version. That is how I always have the newest junk. And I don’t have anything old collecting dust.

Apple products are really easy to resell and if you get it before the shortage happens then you can make money. Supply and demand at eBay’s best.

Next year I will probably do the same thing with the video iPod or in the next couple months with the sony PSP.

There are also sites that direct you to the best deals on the web, which is great.

It was the NIC. I got a new one at Office Depot for $ 10.00. Installed it and it works. As soon as I put it in the computer and turned it on the link lights at the NIC and the router came on.
