Blog Work

It’s Friday night and instead of playing video games or watching Battlestar Gallactica or Upgrading my repo to wordpress 2.5 I worked on a new design for my site. It’s pretty basic and not entirely what I had envisioned but since the takimata sandbox theme shared my motive I used it for my ground work and then spent an hour or two messing around in CSSedit. I think I’ll be able to work with this theme for a while, I still want to do a few more things like:

  • Make my lifestream more promonant
  • Fix the page styling
  • Add some missing plugins (i.e. gravatars)
  • Add some features found in my last theme

Then again…I probably wont get around to do any of those.

  • Well I wasn't done, that's for sure. Every time I see something I missed I end up tweaking it just a little.

This should be good. Especially since the next time I have the opportunity to change the theme I wont care; a win-win.
  • I think I'm done. IE probably wont like what I've done but I can live with it.
  • Interesting. Reminds me that I have a bunch of changes I want to make to mine as well; like you said though - whether I'll get around to doing them or not, I'm not sure.
