I watched F-911 again and I saw a lot this time that I never saw before. Mainly because last time I was going into it very closed minded, like JaredDave Z and Dave Z. are now, I guess I am “young”. Oh, I will hear about this in the upcoming weeks.
I want to post an interview on this blog soon that was done on the DVD release and this is a true documentary piece. Some of you elephants out there might ask the meaning behind that statement because all along they say the Moore is not a documentary creator but a propaganda creator, I agree with you, but there is a lot of truth behind his films, a lot of things we should be looking at and asking ourselves. One main issue is the news, I want to see unbiased and the whole news, where do you red states get your news? The radio? I have a theory about knowledge and independent thinking being in the cities of america. I saw a very detailed map of red and blue blocks spread through out the nation, and all the blue seemed to be in the city. Even Cali looked prominently red through bakersfield and death valley.
I have already said to much but I want to say I hate the political beleifs that are going on right now.
One is arrogance, just to let everyone know, we are not better then anyone else. A human being no matter what country he/she lives in is still a child of God. And to exploit this more, because we are christians does not mean we need to kill to propagate our beliefs. It will only create hate and fear. Notice we hear nothing of the Christian martyr and everything about the extremist muslim suicide bomber.
Two, one persons choice of killing her child can never nullify the child OUR nation kills. While I am against abortion and somewhat against stem cell research, my selfish belief that if a mother wants to kill her step-dads baby it is between her and God. While the US kills innocent people and abuse there heritage and rape there land, I feel somewhat responsible. Because this is our nation.
Third, the feeling that if we question and expect better responsibility for our nation that we are as bad as the terrorists themselves. Should we just be content all the time because we are being led by a person God put in office? I think we should have told the iraqi citizens this instead of invading them. Oh, wait we are freeing them so we can appoint their new leader, oh wait, again I got it wrong, God appoints him. When do we take responsibility for our own free will.
Fourth, Moore or no moore, how can you possibly think that the INVASION of iraq was not oil driven. There is a lot of video of iraq before the invasion and they looked good to me. A third world country my ass. And to think that there was and may still be WMD is appalling, we were “dooped” into going. ADMIT IT. There is so much video that I have seen that clearly states Bush wanted to invade the first day of office. And all big names, rice, ash said iraq meant no threat to us pre 911. I stronly beleive that 911 was a tragedy for more then one reason: one people died, good people; two our nation suffered; three Bush could get his invasion on; and the government had an excuss to invade our
privacy.
