OG Blog page?

Anyone want a page similar to this but for all posts? I could call it classic, or something stupid like that.

I'm the owner and solution engineer at Sprout Venture, a web solutions company that specializes in web development including WordPress.

I started my first blog in 2003 and transitioned to WordPress in 2004. Since moving to WordPress I've written a few plugins and themes for public consumption. Lately I'm busy engineering/building/coding and have only been able to share a few code snippets.

If you're in need of some web development, web design or custom WordPress plugins and/or themes contact me, I'll be happy to discuss it with you.

[...] [...] By popular demand the classic blog is back. Even without the sidebar and with the limited posts I like it. It’s simple. It really has everything a blog should have. Posts and search. What else do you really need? The only problem, I don’t know how to make it more noticeable. I don’t want it to be my main “blog” or home page but I would like to have it known for the on-off readers that I personally know. And I know, even with the easy url dancameron.org/blog/, people will forget. So what do I do? A splash page is out of the question. I don’t know if theme switching would be effective, even though it uses cookies to remember what you like. Maybe a simple graphic will do in the header or a rounded image floating right below the header and before the post. I wonder what it could say. • Well, since I read it via RSS it doesn't matter too much to me, but I would guess that most reader would prefer this kind of view. I don't think it's just because that's the standard for blogs either (although that's part of it); I think it just makes more sense than having to click through to read several stories (if there is more than one new one).

So, if you ask me, I think that this kind of view should be the main one, rather than the "alternate" option. I do like how you tried something different, and it definitely looks good, but I just think the classic style (multiple posts in descending order on the home page) works best for blogs.
