Hack my open server

Since 1and1 is scamming me I thought I might as well publish all of the servers information so you guys can go to town. Do anything you want and hopefully they will finally cancel my service, after all my failed attempts.

Have Fun!

I do have some UDP port open. See if you can find what ports numbers are open :) Send me some packets of messages to the ports so that I know you are there. You can bomb packets the port if you want.

    already done.

If you want the new one just email me. Otherwise it will just sit there unused.
  • Dan
    Oh yeah.
  • Can you still reimage if the root password has already been changed?
  • For an idea of what "could" happen, check out the case of Sherman Austin, who went through a heck of a lot just because of something someone else authored and posted on his site.

    and

    http://www.la.indymedia.org/news/2005/07/132174...

Of course, this is an extreme example, and the government was totally wrong to do it, but it goes to show that sometimes that doesn't matter, and you'll get screwed anyway.
  • Dan
How do your minds think like that?

    Okay, I'll re-image.
  • At least this will be an interesting case to see whether Dan will go to jail over what someone else does with his server.

What makes this even worse is that you're not just giving access to post stuff on your web server, it's a full root access to a dedicated server, so they can pretty much do anything they want anonymously.
  • Ya, I really would advise you to change your passwords now (assuming someone else hasn't already).
  • Nate
Well, I might log in, delete all the users, changed the root password, start distributing my kiddie porn collection. All on a machine 1and1 has you listed as the user.
  • Dan
    Why's that?
  • Nate
Wow! Don't think this is a good idea, for your sake. I implore you not to submit this post to digg!
