Poker Purse at Scattered

Jared already brought this up but on Saturday we went up to Chumash Casino and played in a poker tournament. Jared ended up 5th overall and I lasted to 28th not bad out of 138 people and it was our first tournament.

Before the tournament I sat down at a table and the dealer told me that I would only have the chance to play one hand because the tournament was about to start so I thought what the hell. I was dealt a 9 king or something like that and I just kept on matching the high bets then after the flop I doubled doubled and I bet the max just because I was thinking this is the last hand. I ended up with a boat and I won around $80 on that one hand, not bad since I won $75 overall in the tournament. After the tourney waiting for Jared I played a no limit game and went almost all in a couple beginning hands to tripled my chips. I originally bet those chips because I thought I really had nothing to loose, Ididn’t see those winning chips as money. But when I got to around $400 I started to get nervous because the other guys had thousands and I wouldn’t last long if I got into a real close game. I also started to notice those blue chips $5 bills in my pocket so I got up after folding some calls and I went to a max bet table where I lost some more chips. Getting upset with myself I went to another table where the maxs where a little higher and I won some back. Overall I made $225+ and I hadn’t an idea of what to do with my new winnings.
One idea is to just keep it rolling, which I might do but I really want to get an XBOX 360 when it comes late November.
