1. Webkit – Inspector

Thanks to BB for pointing out webkit’s inspector feature. The feature is awesome, way better then web dev tools for firefox. Maybe Shiira will have the inspector soon (if not already) and I’ll start using that browser instead of good ol’ FF, I’ll at least use Shiira or Safari for web dev since the inspector has already helped me so much.

After installing webkit I had to try it out to find out why I had that gap at the top of my page. Yes, I never meant it to be there and now it look funny not. And’ it’s been bugging me since day 1 and I’ve spent so much time trying to figure it out and finally today I found out it wasn’t a CSS issue it was a break tag that I had in my header file, stupid me. And thanks to inspector the hours I spent before trying to find out if it was padding or margins causing it are now a’wash since after 5 minutes with the tool I found the culprit.

  3. aStore

Amazon’s aStore is pretty cool. I put a little one
together with just a few items and I’m impressed with the idea. I really like the affiliates program because I review a lot of gadgets and stuff but a store is cool to, especially if they add more functionality with embedding.

  4. Battlestar Galactica: The Story So Far

Since BG has been talked about as much as Lost I decided to dive in and download “The Story so Far” on my 360. It’s an hour recap of the first two seasons and as a non-viewer of the show I think I could comfortably watch season 3 without an issue. However according to the Battlestar Galactica wiki “The Story So Far” left out a lot but what do you expect when you roll 37 episodes into one. It’s just really unlikely that I could ever catch up before season 3 starts, like that really makes a difference anyways. My original plan was to watch it at work during our TV lunch hour which would take way too long to accomplish. And with just watching the recap I rather just watch a few here and there until the season starts again so I can start watching it alongside the Brookes’ who are uber BG geeks.

  5. Apple snuggles up to Google with Schmidt joining BOD

I wonder what this would accomplish if anything at all. Hope it doesn’t mean adsense built into my desktop, what I do hope is free integrated online services killing the payment plan of .mac. … Read More »

  6. Musicast

My musicast channel has moved to a new port. I really don’t know why it’s so darned slow though, I’ll have to track my up speed and contact Time Warner. At least you can use the RSS for a podcast channel though. … Read More »

  9. Dyndns

I finally found a reason for my dyndns account. And what’s cool is all I need to do is edit my apache to a non-blocked port (by time warner) and I can have another webhost but this time at my house for dev. Also, my router will automatically updates dyndns for me.

  10. Musicast

I’m testing out musicast right now so go checkout my page. It’s a cool app that I know a lot of other free apps do but I saw it on maczot today for $8 and I like it’s ease so I bought it. The page that it creates is really cool and the two playlist limit won’t be there for long, I’m just waiting for maczot to update my admin page. One reason I don’t like maczot very much.

Update: I forgot to say it does RSS so you can add my songs as a podcast and download whatever you want.
