1. Gaim

As Stryker found out today I started back up using AIM. The reason: as you know I have a proxy server setup and I now can im at work through that server. So if you know me and you want to say hello my aim is DanScattered; is it bad to publish your aim account like this? Ah, who cares? I for sure don’t…yet. If you use an IM client other then AIM or Gaim please tell me, I am really interested at to what is the best out there since I had been out of the circle untill today.

  2. I waited all day for this…

Well the damage is done. I thought Jared was a shoe in for at least one prize and I thought I would at least get an honorable, but neither of us received any mention.
Oh how bad it feels to be an outcast.
At least I am getting a lot of visits and downloads. I wish AK would tell us how many downloads he gets from his website. Well it sounds as if I were disappointed; I am, but the winners do deserve it since a lot of them are really great and original, I wish I spent more time on mine but hindsight is always 20/20.
On another good note, my site will still be the one and few as will Jared’s.

  3. What does this mean to us?

The Real Nick W writes Wordpress, an incredibly popular Open Source Blogging system was found to be spamming google by inserting hidden links to junk content on high paying Adsense keywords such as mesothelioma and debt consolidation. Following Threadwatch picking up the story an anonymous Google rep appeared in the original thread admonishing bloggers not to use sneaky tactics to rank highly for “duplicate content” such as the 100,000 hidden articles on the Wordpress site. The articles have now dissapeared from Google and it remains to be seen whether Google will ban Wordpress outright as they tend to do when SEO’s and web dev’s pull these kinds of stunts.”

  4. Oh so funny

A man is flying in a hot air balloon and realizes he is lost. He reduces height and spots a man down below. He lowers the balloon further and shouts, “Excuse me, can you tell me where I am?”

The man below says, “Yes, you’re in a hot air balloon, hovering 30 feet above this field. “

“You must be an engineer”, says the balloonist.

“I am”, replies the man. “How did you know?”

“Well”, says the balloonist, “everything you have told me is technically correct, but it’s of no use to anyone.”

The man below says, “You must be in management.”

“I am”, replies the balloonist, “but how did you know?”

“Well”, says the man, “you don’t know where you are, or where you’re going, but you expect me to be able to help. You’re in the same position you were before we met, but now it’s my fault.”

  7. The Bridge Community Blog

The Bridge Community Blog has been updated and I think it finally falls into the overall theme of how thebridgecommunities.org is, well how it used to be, I hope the changes back to how it used to be instead of one page flyer site that it is now. I found the theme a couple days ago in the AK comp. and spent this morning creating the images, I hope you all like it.

So after redoing Kat’s, Sara’s, the Soliton blog, and now the Bblogs, I think I am done. Next up the big move.

  9. PSP web browsing through Wipeout Pure

Good thing I have the game.

I am currently using Absurd Genius’s DNS server to connect. But what I would really like to do is create my own.

How hard can it be? Anyone?

  10. Scattered Theme 1.1

For all the users who have downloaded my theme already on Alex King’s Theme compitition you will need to download this update. The reason being is the two style sheets that are included were written poorly; see below. Sorry for the hassle. I will also create a page for this theme so people can go and comment and get some support.

If you already have the theme installed and you just want to update the two new css files download them here.
