Sara and I received a cal last night and they said that our phone number was randomly selected for a U.S. grant. wow! Well I new it was a scam the whole time and we had a little fun. You can view most of the conversation below, its choppy because my video phone was set at first only to record 15 second clips, and it might be a little long because I don’t have time to trim it down.
At first it was real funny to us that a person that barely spoke english was saying we were able to get a U.S. Grant and we didn’t have to do anything, no really nothing.
It got a lot more interesting when they kept transferring us to a new supervisor because after each transfer there came a person on the phone that spoke a little better english and we could actually understand what they were saying. At one point, I don’t know if you can tell in the clip, but I asked where they where and she said “NY”, I replied, oh what time is it there? She paused for a cool 15-20 seconds and said 11:45, wow they work that late. In India it was the morning, Hummmm. Oh well, I hope this helps all those people out there that actually get calls like this and they think oh why not.
The clips on the phone were actually pretty funny but after my phone filled up it got really good. Because what is not on these clips, that we recorded on my real camera was the guy asking if we were interested, I said yeah its free money, and then Danny Dawson says straight as an arrow, “Okay, just read me the bottom numbers on your check, right”
 Who gets scammed this way anyways:?:
